Met de Stop Heling app kunt u met serienummers van elk product controleren of het gestolen is of niet. De app zoekt uit of het product als gestolen
geregistreerd staat in de database van de Nederlandse politie. Let wel: een product dat niet is geregistreerd kan alsnog gestolen zijn! Soms is er geen aangifte gedaan of is
de aangifte nog niet verwerkt.
De app kan kentekens en een groot deel van de serienummers automatisch inscannen. Tevens biedt de app de mogelijkheid om uw eigen spullen inclusief serienummer en foto op te
slaan. Erg handig voor de verzekering of een eventuele aangifte.
Het is u dus aan te raden om eenmaal door uw huis heen te lopen en al uw eigendommen te registreren. Deze informatie blijft op uw toestel staan en wordt niet opgeslagen door
de politie. Wel biedt de app de mogelijkheid om de lijst met uw eigendommen naar uw e-mailadres te sturen.
Het kopen van gestolen goederen is heling en dat is strafbaar. Wie gestolen spullen koopt, stuurt de inbrekers op pad. Bij het kopen van tweedehands spullen is het dan ook
belangrijk om alert te blijven.
Let wel: een product dat niet is geregistreerd kan alsnog gestolen zijn (de database gaat overigens niet verder terug dan 1 januari 2010). Bij het kopen van tweedehands

The Stop Healing app allows you to check serial numbers of each product or it is stolen or not. The app finds out whether the product is registered as stolen
in the database of the Dutch police. Note: a product that is not registered can still be stolen! Sometimes there is no declaration made or the declaration has not yet been
processed.
The app can badges and a large part of the serial numbers to scan automatically. This app also allows you to store your own stuff including serial number and photo. Very
useful for insurance or any declaration.
It is therefore recommended that you walk by your house once back and record all your belongings. This will remain on your device and is not stored by the police. However,
the app offers the ability to send the list of your belongings to your email address.
Buying stolen goods is healing and that is punishable. Who buys stolen goods, send the burglars set off. When therefore buying second hand goods, it is important to stay
alert.
